Winemaker Jennifer Higgins joined Lambert Bridge in 2010, bringing experience fromsome of napa and sonoma’s most prestigious wineries. She honed her craft alongside industry legends like Zelma Long and David Ramey.
Born and raised in Sonoma County, Jennifer Higgins found her passion for winemakingwhile working with the legendary Zelma Long at Simi Winery. After earning a Biochemistry degree from UC Davis, she pivoted from a path in medicine to the art and science of winemaking. Under Zelma’s mentorship, Jennifer honed her craft, deepening her understanding of the complexities of winemaking.
Jennifer’s journey took her to William Hill Winery in Napa Valley, where she worked alongside Jill Davis, gaining invaluable experience in large-scale winemaking. She then spent eleven years at Lancaster Estate, collaborating with iconic winemaking consultant David Ramey.
Since joining Lambert Bridge in 2010, Jennifer has become an integral part of our story. The running joke is that she saves more lives making wine than she ever would have as a doctor.
