In December 2024, Kendrick Lamar and SZA, two iconic figures from Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE), officially announced their highly anticipated co-headlining Grand National Tour. This marks a significant milestone in their musical journey, following a decade of collaboration and mutual respect, with their latest project, Lamar's GNX (2024), featuring two tracks with SZA.
The tour kicks offs on April 19, 2025, in Minneapolis, with 39 shows scheduled across North America and Europe, culminating on August 9, 2025, in Stockholm. Grand National Tour was initially planned for 23 dates across the U.S. and Canada but quickly expanded due to overwhelming demand. Extra shows have been added in major cities like Los Angeles and Toronto, with European dates following suit in February 2025. Cities such as Paris, London, and Frankfurt now feature additional performances to accommodate the rapidly growing demand for tickets.
Both artists have a long history together, starting with SZA’s 2014 Z EP, and their prior involvement in the Championship Tour (2018) further deepens their connection. This new tour represents their evolution both as individuals and as collaborators. It’s a rare opportunity for fans to see two of the most innovative artists of the decade come together to perform some of their biggest hits, with Lamar’s GNX and SZA’s SOS setting the stage for a night of unforgettable performances.
The Grand National Tour isn't just another concert tour—it's a celebration of two genre-defying artists who have shaped the musical landscape over the past decade. Whether you’re a longtime fan of Kendrick’s poetic rap or SZA’s soulful melodies, this tour is sure to be one for the history books.
Tickets for the Grand National Tour went on sale in February 2025, with pre-sale options through major platforms like Cash App and Ticketmaster’s Official Platinum program. If you’re hoping to catch the tour, it’s best to act quickly as many of the shows have sold out or are nearing capacity.
